My curiosity about technology started long before my career officially did. I was born and raised in Istanbul and, thanks to the university entrance exam of the time, graduated as a mechanical engineer. But I always knew my real passion lay elsewhere — computers and technology fascinated me far more than machines. After graduating, I decided to follow that passion and reshape my career path.

In 2005 I completed a master's degree in Information Technology at Sabancı University. Those years weren't only about studying — I was also freelancing, building web-based applications for universities, and discovering how satisfying it is to create useful digital tools. I kept building on that knowledge and, in 2021, also completed a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems.

For more than 20 years I have worked in different roles as a Sales Manager, Project Manager and Product Manager. Wearing different hats has helped me think about using technology in business from many different angles.

Today I live in Istanbul with my wife and our two daughters. On this site I share my experiences, practical thoughts on technology and productivity that I have learned (and keep learning), and sometimes simply what's on my mind.
